Tehran (IP) - Ali Akbar Velayati, senior adviser to the leader of the Islamic Revolution on international affairs, says blaspheming the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in France indicates the fall of diplomacy in the European country.

Iran Press/Iran News: During a ceremony on Saturday, the advisor said that France is no longer the country whose presidents played a vital role in the world.

The current French president follows the Zionists and does these for the sake of the usurper Israel, the official added.

Velayati added: "Macron's anti-Islamic behavior has caused him to be hated in the Islamic world, and if he continues, the Islamic world will stand against these insults."

Emmanuel Macron has accused Muslims of separatism and vowed not to give up cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammad.
