Tehran (IP)- Iran’s Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli said that rapid coronavirus detection and screening nationwide is a priority that all organizations should assist the Ministry of Health to achieve it.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an operational meeting of the National Task Force, Combating coronavirus, Rahmani-Fazli added that coronavirus screening and diagnosis should be done on a large scale to prevent further disease spread.

Noting that oversight discussions are the Health Ministry's responsibility, the Minister of Interior clarified that to implement the measures to prevent the further spread of corona disease, all bodies should work regionally and locally.

Rahmani-Fazli stated that the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade is responsible for preparing masks in the country, which should be distributed carefully under the Ministry of Health's supervision.

In the meeting, decisions were made regarding the entrance and exit of passengers from the country, which is binding, he highlighted.

Regarding news and content production about the disease, we also have good capacities in the police, the Ministry of Intelligence, and others, which should be presented together with a plan.

He concluded that all committees and executive bodies must work hard and decisively to implement these resolutions.

The first operational meeting of the National Task Force Combating was held in Tehran on Saturday in the presence of the Minister of the interior.
