Iran calls UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to react to French anti-Islam move

Tehran (IP) - Condemning the French President's insult to the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution in a message, called on the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to react to the violation of the rights of the Muslim community and to refrain from double standards.

Iran PressIran News: According to the news center of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution on Tuesday, the text of this statement reads: "14 centuries have passed since the message of God Almighty was conveyed by his last messenger, which was a message of mercy and compassion for the world, and the revelation of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in an era when the world was associated with ignorance and misguidance was a shining beacon to change the course of history in the world from darkness to light and mercy."

"The message of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) which was divine mercy not only for Muslims during his lifetime but also for all human beings including believers and even infidels in all ages and what caused the high popularity of this divine chosen Messenger in the world is the jewel-like essence of morality in his behavior and manners which attracted and fascinated everyone and God Almighty made the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) a role model of goodness for everyone," added the statement.

ُSaeed Reza Ameli has stated in another part of this message: "Talking about the virtues of this unique man in history is not within the scope of this text and the study of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) acknowledges every free human being that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the manifestation of divine mercy and blessing as many non-Muslim thinkers have emphasized."

"The useless insistence of this group to reduce the popularity of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) has been and will be in vain, and today the beautiful name of Muhammad (PBUH) is the most popular and all-encompassing name that people choose for their children," highlighted the statement.

The life of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the subsequent growing popularity of this insult of the ignorant people has led to more people in the world turning to study the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and consequently the growing popularity of this chosen messenger of God and inclination to Islam.

The secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution added: "Insulting the sanctities of more than two billion Muslims and other believers in the divine religions is certainly an indecent act that cannot be easily ignored, and this fruitless ignorance and effort stems from ignorant thoughts which aim to extinguish this divine light, but these ignorant people should know that by the grace of God, the light of the mercy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will shine more and more in the hearts of the people every day, and the wave of inclination towards Islam will increase more and more in the world. Those who are nervous and narrow-minded will be condemned more and more by the world's public opinion every day."
