Tehran (IP) - The vice-chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian parliament noted that one of the governments that have been trying to sow discord in the Islamic world as a strategy, after Britain and the United States, is France.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press on Monday, Shahriar Heidari said creating division in the Islamic world is the strategy of some Western countries to achieve their sinister goals.

"The Qur'an and the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) are the points of unity in the Islamic world and even other divine religions," he added.

Heidari stated that some European officials feel that there is a division in the Islamic world and as a result, with some measures, they seek more.
