Death Toll of Israeli Attacks on Beirut Rises

IP - The latest Israeli attack on Thursday night, targeting a civilian building in densely populated areas at Ras al-Nabaa and al-Nuwairi neighborhood in central Beirut, led to at least 22 martyrs and more than 117 people injured.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Two eight-story apartment buildings were destroyed in the Israeli attack at Ras al-Nabaa.

Another civilian Building in the western area of Burj Abi Haidar collapsed and was engulfed in flames after the Israeli attack.

According to Al-Manar, The occupation army carried out its aggression on Beirut through two raids, the first of which targeted the Al-Nuwairi area, while the second targeted the Al-Basta neighborhood.

Following the raid, civil defense workers rushed to the site of the attacks to rescue those trapped under collapses.

Al-Manar quoted' Hezbollah's command center that "Israeli air raid on Beirut failed to assassinate the senior Hezbollah official Hajj Wafiq Safa".

He is the head of Hezbollah’s liaison coordination unit and is in charge of Hezbollah's connection with the Lebanon government.

Hajj Wafiq Safa is a political figure in Hezbollah and it is interesting to know that Israel tried to assassinate a political figure in a densely populated area in Beirut without prior notice to people for Evacuation.

Earlier Zionist media claimed that the target of the attack on central Beirut was the assassination of a high-ranking Hezbollah commander.

Israel continuously targeted Southern Beirut, but it is the third time Israel has targeted central Beirut in the past year.
