Tehran (IP) - The president of Iran's Sports Federation for the Blind and Partially Sighted, predicted that Iran would win two gold medals in judo and athletics, at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the occasion of International White Cane Safety Day, Mohammad Reza Mazloumi stated that in the last three seasons in which blind and partially sighted athletes have participated in the Asian Games, they have won 25 gold medals, which shows that blind and visually impaired's sport has grown well.

The president of Iran's Sports Federation for the Blind and Partially Sighted also expressed that the message of October 15 as the International White Cane Safety Day is that the blind also lives in the society, have their own problems, and need special attention to exercise well and lead a normal life.

Mazloumi added that paying attention to the blind and the visually impaired is one of the duties of the government and the people, and the athletes of this part of the society have achieved good results at the lowest cost in international sports fields.
