The people of the Syrian city of Al-Qamishli held a large rally on Wednesday, calling for an end to the US and Turkish military occupation of Syrian territory and condemning the US unilateral sanctions against the Syrian people.

Participants in the rally stressed the need to strengthen Syria's national unity and launch resistance to expel the occupying forces from all Syrian territory and called on international organizations to condemn US actions in stealing Syrian oil and wheat.

Al-Shadadi district in al-Hasakah province also witnessed protests on Tuesday condemning the presence of US occupying forces and their militias in the area.

Residents of al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor provinces in Syria have staged several demonstrations in recent months, condemning the terrorist activities of US-backed Kurdish militias and the US-occupied military.
