Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman announced the visit of Afghanistan's High Council for National Reconciliation to Tehran next Sunday.

Iran Press/ Asia: Saeed Khatibzadeh, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on Wednesday night: "Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of Afghanistan's High Council for National Reconciliation, will travel to Tehran on Sunday (October 18th) at the head of a high-level delegation.

He added: "Abdullah Abdullah will meet with the President, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and other high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran during this three-day trip."

Abdullah Abdullah has previously traveled to Pakistan and India.
