Iran Press/ America: Donald Trump, wearing a surgical mask, walked out the front door of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., where he had been receiving treatment since Friday evening. Administration officials were making preparations for Trump to isolate in the White House residence, instead of the West Wing, where many senior aides work, according to a person familiar with the discussions.
Shortly before 7 p.m., Trump exited Marine One and stood on a White House balcony, removed his mask, flashed two thumbs up, and gave a salute.
The president returned to a White House that has been shaken by the illness. Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said Monday that she had tested positive and was going into isolation. Other people close to the president who have tested positive include Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien, aide Hope Hicks, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former adviser Kellyanne Conway, and director of Oval Office operations Nick Luna.

The coronavirus pandemic derailed the US economy earlier this year, and many businesses and schools have remained closed in an effort to slow its spread. The virus has killed nearly 210,000 Americans and infected 7.4 million people in the US, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
