Over 1500 people hospitalized due to COVID-19 infection: Health Ministry Spox.

Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said on Wednesday that from yesterday to September 30, in the country, 3,582 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 1,567 of patients were hospitalized.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to Sima Sadat Lari, definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 30, 2020, in the country, 3,580 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 1,567 of patients were hospitalized.

The Spokeswoman said that in the past 24 hours, 183 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 26,169 people have lost their lives in the country to date.

4,093 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, around 4,014,821 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted," the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.

According to the spokeswoman, the Provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi (Central Province), Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamedan, and Yazd are in red.

"Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Hormozgan, Fars, and Golestan provinces are also on alert," she concluded.
