Bandar Abbas (IP) - The second phase of steelmaking of Kish South Kaveh Steel Company (SKS) is being inaugurated in Bandar Abbas, the capital of Hormozgan province, southern Iran, with the presence of First Vice President of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri.

Iran PressIran News: The second phase of steelmaking of SKS, with an investment of 311 million Euros by the Mostazafan Foundation in the Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone in Bandar Abbas, is in production and will be put into operation on Saturday. 

In this regard, the CEO of SKS Ali Dehaqin in an interview with Iran Press in Bandar Abbas stated that with the increase of 1.2 million tons of steel in the second phase, the company's capacity has reached 2.4 million tons.

The CEO of Kish South Kaveh Steel Company stated that the international standard has been used in this company and all products of the company can be exported.

He specified that 70% of the products of SKS were exported in 2019 and 30% were used in the domestic market.
