Iranian and Afghan MPs discussed ways to boost mutual ties

Kabul (IP)- In the joint meeting of the representatives of the Iranian and Afghan parliaments, the ways of strengthening and consolidating the relations between the two countries were discussed.

Iran PressAsia: The meeting, held on Wednesday in the Afghan House of Representatives in Kabul, focusing on Iran's investment in Afghanistan, oil, and gas export to Afghanistan.

Training of Afghan migrant students in Iran, construction of steel plants in Afghanistan, the peace process, and the drafting of a strategic document between Iran and Afghanistan were the other topics.

A member of the Afghan House of Representatives, Ghulam Sarwar Saadat, praised Iran's efforts to educate Afghan students in Iran.

A representative from Bamyan, Zahiruddin Jan Agha, also thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for showing hospitality towards the Afghan immigrants.

The Afghan parliamentarians also called for using the experiences of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various commercial and economic fields.

The representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran also announced their readiness to transfer experiences in various economic and development fields to Afghanistan.
