Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking on Monday at the annual event marking the beginning of the Sacred Defense Week, Major General Bagheri said: "Sacred Defense should be kept alive and we won't let it to be forgotten."
He also stressed that every effort must be made to prevent Sacred Defence distortion.
September 21 is the beginning of the Holy Defense Week in the Iranian calendar. During this week, various ceremonies are held throughout Iran in commemoration of the event.
