Tehran (IP) - The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced that it has no other request for inspection.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iran’s nuclear chief referred to the cooperation between Iran and the Agency, saying: "In this regard, the policy and approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran are always within the framework of the principles it has set for itself.”

“If the IAEA has a request from Iran under Tehran’s obligations, we have no problem for cooperation; The demands of the Agency should be in the context of the Safeguards Agreement or the Additional Protocol and should be considered sound, reasonable and justified,” added Salehi.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has shown that it is a committed country that works in the context of political ethics and is not like the US who don’t fulfill its promises. Iran is living up to its promises as far as it has promised,” said the head of AEOI.

The Iranian official said that the agreement between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) came when the Security Council was seeking a decision on the Iranian nuclear issue. And only the United States and the Dominican Republic voted in favor of that anti-Iranian plan.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran concluded: “The officials of the International Atomic Energy Agency announced that, based on the information they have, after inspecting the two designated sites, they have no other request for inspection.”
