Tehran (IP) - The Chief Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the US share of the world is shrinking because new powers such as Islam as a civilization power emerged curbing the US arrogance.

Iran Press/Iran News: Stressing that the Islamic Revolution exhausted the US hegemony, Major General Hossein Salami said today’s US has lost its political dynamics, is incapable of creating change, and all the concept through which it talked to the world failed. 

Pointing to the fact that the US military power has got obsolete, General Salami noted that today, the US share of the world is shrinking, as new powers have appeared. Islam has emerged as power by playing a civilizing role.

“The US is politically isolated today; on the issue of the arms embargo, he did not even have his traditional allies’ support and relied only on the Dominican Republic,” he pointed out referring to the US futile bid to extend an arms embargo on Iran, stressing that the US resort to snapback against Iran is failed.

The Iranian commander said that there has nothing already remained from the US but smoke, fire, and breaking the dignity of human beings in the streets and the collapse of its health system, yet such a US threatens Iran. 

Elsewhere, he addressed the US President Donald Trump over the assassination of the Commander of Qods Force of IRGC Lieutenant General Ghasem Soleimani and stressed that all those who had a role in the US’ assassination of the late Iranian commander would be punished.

Emphasizing that shattering the US's image is irreversible, the commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guards, said: "Today, America's share of the world is shrinking, because new powers are emerging and Islam has emerged as a power with civilization."

The Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps pointed out that Iran precisely observes its enemies everywhere and warned the US against hurting even an Iranian: “Mr. Trump, if the US inflicts the slightest damage to Iranians, we extinct its existence.”

He made his remarks on Saturday on the anniversary of the US-backed Iraqi Ba’athist regime’s 8-year-war on Iran in 1979.
