Tehran (IP) - The seventh meeting of Iran-New Zealand Political and Economic Cooperation Commission was held by video conference in the presence of the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and his New Zealand counterpart.

Iran PressIran News: The meeting, chaired by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his New Zealand counterpart, was held by video conference, and bilateral political and economic issues, sanctions, the latest developments related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), exchange of experience in managing the Covid-19 virus, and the two countries' views on regional and international issues were discussed.

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, while appreciating New Zealand Government support for

JCPOA and welcoming its membership in the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to maintain and promote trade relations in the face of sanctions and the Coronavirus using new mechanisms.
