Iran Press/ Iran news: Sima Sadat Lari on Monday reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, announcing that 388,810 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus.
According to Sadat Lari, definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 7, 2020, 2,152 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country, out of whom 1,116 of patients were hospitalized.
The spokeswoman said in the past 24 hours, 117 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 22,410 people have lost their lives in the country to date.
3,733 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.
"So far, around 3,406,055 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the health ministry spokeswoman said.
According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Tehran, Mazandaran, Gilan, Qom, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Yazd, Zanjan, and Qazvin are regarded as red zones.
She added: also, the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Alborz, Fars, Lorestan, Hormozgan, Ardabil, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, South Khorasan, Markazi, Ilam, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Golestan, and Khuzestan are on alert.
