Iran's Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali in a virtual conversation with the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev, while congratulating the Russian government on its success in manufacturing the COVID-19 vaccine, referred to the talks between the two countries' presidents and ministers of health and the agreement on joint cooperation in the production of the vaccine.

Iran PressEurope: Referring to the results of two working group meetings between the Pasteur Institute and the National Gamaleya Center of Russia, the Iranian ambassador expressed hope that the process of joint production of the COVID-19 vaccine with the cooperation of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) would begin as soon as possible.

While expressing satisfaction with the cooperation with Iran in the field of manufacturing and mass production of vaccines, the head of RDIF explained the steps of the joint production of the COVID-19 vaccine with Iran.
