Tehran (IP) - Iranian Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Saturday (September 5) that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 384,666, with the death toll reaching 22,154.

Iran Press/Iran news: Sima Sadat Lari said on Saturday that with 110 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll from the virus has reached 22,154.

Unfortunately, 1,894 new cases since were diagnosed from yesterday, 976 of whom were hospitalized and the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 384,666, Lari said.

She also put the number of those who have so far recovered from the viral infection at 332,131.

According to the spokeswoman, 3,708 patients are under severe conditions.

The spokeswoman also added that 3,355,152 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.

Announcing that 29 provinces are in a state of red or warning, Ms. Lari added: According to the latest information, the provinces of Tehran, Mazandaran, Gilan, Qom, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Yazd, Zanjan, and Qazvin They are in the red position.

According to him, the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Alborz, Fars, Lorestan, Hormozgan, Ardabil, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, South Khorasan, Markazi, Ilam, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Golestan, and Khuzestan are on alert.        101/207
