Manama has reportedly allowed Israeli planes flying to the UAE to use Bahraini airspace.

Iran Press/Middle East: An official of Bahrain's Transportation and Telecommunication Ministry told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the aviation department of the ministry permits all flights to and from the United Arab Emirates across his country's sky.

The Bahraini ministry confirmed that the permit was issued at the request of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority.

Saudi Arabia also took the same measure on Wednesday accepting the UAE's request for using the Saudi airspace for its flights to all places of the world including Tel Aviv and vice versa.

The first Israeli plane carrying a US-Israeli delegation landed on August 31 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.

It was the first direct flight from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi, which took place just 17 days after ties between the UAE and the Zionist regime were normalized.

The leaders of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have made great efforts in recent years to reach out to the Israeli regime, and the process was accelerated when Donald Trump took office in the US in 2015.
