Pakistan emphasizes developing relations with Iran

The Prime Minister of Pakistan stressed the need to develop relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressAsia: "Islamabad's current relations with Tehran are at a very good level compared to the past," Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan told the country's ARY news network on Friday.

Imran Khan added that further development of Pakistan's relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran as a neighboring country is inevitable.

The head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (ruling party) stressed the country's relations with other countries in the region and stressed that Islamabad is determined to play a role in helping defuse tensions between key countries in the region.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan then praised the advanced urban management system in Iran, especially the capital city of Tehran, despite US sanctions, and called for a model for his country, including the city of Karachi.

Earlier, some high-ranking Pakistani officials, including Qasim Khan Suri, the deputy speaker of the National Assembly, called for further expansion of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
