Tabriz (IP) - Simultaneously with the beginning of Muharram month, the flags of mourning of Imam Hussein (third Shia Imam), have covered the largest indoor market in the world in Tabriz, the capital of East Azerbaijan province, northwest of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: Every year during the month of Muharram, merchants of the covered market of Tabriz install flags of mourning for Imam Hussein at the entrances of markets, its corridors, and shops.

Imam Hussein's mourning ceremony in the largest indoor market in the world is one of the most famous mourning ceremonies in Iran, which has been canceled this year to counter the spread of coronavirus.
