Tehran (IP) - Iranian students held a demonstration in front of the UAE embassy in Tehran on Saturday forthrightly condemning the agreement to normalize relations between Emirates and Israel.

Iran Press/Iran news: Following US President Donald Trump's relentless efforts to facilitate the normalization of relations between the UAE and the Zionist regime, the two sides agreed on Thursday to fully normalize diplomatic ties.

Tehran University students gathered in front of the UAE embassy to object to this act on Saturday evening.

Students chanted slogans in this regard, saying that it is better for the UAE to end this agreement, express regret to the world and stay loyal to Palestinians’ cause.

Protestors said that this agreement is not beneficial for the region and endangers peace and stability.

At the end of this gathering, the statement was read by one of the students.

Yesterday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in a telephone conversation with Ziyad al-Nakhalah, secretary-general of the Islamic Jihad Movement, expressed regret over the treacherous move of UAE, condemned the agreement and said: "This behavior will increase the hatred of the people of the region and Palestine against these policies."

Today, In a statement the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC severely condemned the normalization of relations agreement between the UAE and the Zionist regime and called it a strategic mistake, historical stupidity, and a poisonous dagger into the body of Islamic Ummah, and stressed that this action will not fulfill the Zionists' interests and also it will bring a dangerous future to the US and advocates to this agreement.
