Tabriz (IP)- August 4, 2020, marks the 114th anniversary of the issuance of Iran's constitutional decree and it has been nominated for the very same event in the Persian calendar.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Constitutional Revolution is the name to describe all of the efforts that have been under Mozafareddin Shah and Mohammad Ali Shah (the Qajar kings) which all led to the establishment of the National Consultative Assembly and the ratification of Iran's first Constitution.

In previous years, the Constitution House of Tabriz, the capital of East Azarbaijan Province, northwestern Iran, hosted a ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of the constitutional decree, but no plans have been made this year due to the spread of the Coronavirus.

The Constitution House, which is the most honorable historical house in the city of Tabriz, was the place of the determining decisions of the leaders of revolution at the height of the Constitutional Revolution. Tabriz Constitution House is a museum that is home to statues of Warriors of the Constitutional Revolution, including Sattar Khan and Baqer Khan.
