Syrian air defense confronts unidentified drone

The Syrian army's air defenses confronted with an unidentified drone early Saturday morning in the western Syrian city of Hama.

Iran PressMiddle East: Last week the air defense which is responsible for protecting the Hmeimim airbase targeted a drone trying to approach the Latakia skies.

Earlier, on June 22, the Syrian Human Rights Watch reported that a drone trying to approach the Hmeimim airbase had been shot down by Syrian air defenses and a Russian base in Latakia.

The crisis in Syria began in 2011 with a massive offensive by terrorist groups backed by Saudi Arabia, the United States, and their allies to change regional equations in favor of the Zionist regime.
