Tehran (IP) - In a telephone conversation with his Azeri and Armenian counterparts on Tuesday, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran stressed Iran's readiness to reduce tensions between the two countries.

Iran Press/Iran news: Talking with Azerbaijan and Armenia's Foreign Ministers Elmar Mohammadyarov and Zohrab Menatsakanyan on Tuesday, Mohammad Javad Zarif advised the two sides show restraint and begin peace talks, and announced Iran's readiness to help end the tensions. 

The armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia have recently clashed again, killing and wounding several soldiers allegedly belonging to both sides.

Baku and Yerevan separately accused each other of starting the conflict.
