Iran Press/ Iran news: Nasser Kanaani, added: "According to the statistics of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of martyrs in Gaza reached 9,770, of which more than 4,000 are children and 70% of the martyrs are women and children."
He went on to say that 16 hospitals out of 35 in the Gaza Strip were out of service and175 medical staff were martyred.
Kanaani also said that one of the crimes of the Israeli regime is the attempt to relocate Palestinians living in northern Gaza.
The Palestinians are still patiently present in the destroyed houses in the north of Gaza and they are not willing to leave there, and now there are 400 thousand people there, he stated.
Referring to the US actions in the region, Kanaani said: "The US knows that Israel has failed and is trying to provide breathing space and necessary conditions for the Zionists."
US gov't should pay compensation to people of Afghanistan
The spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry in his remarks held the US responsible for the problems of Afghans today and asked the country to compensate the displaced people for occupying the country for 20 years.
Kanaani stressed that the international community, especially the United States, should take responsibility for the problems and displacement of the Afghan people and provide them with necessary assistance.
The spokesman's comments come as the situation in Afghanistan remains unstable following the withdrawal of US troops. The country is facing a humanitarian crisis as thousands of people have been displaced and need aid.
In response to a question about Afghan immigrants in neighboring countries and the problems that have arisen for them, especially in Pakistan, he said: "The displacement and problems of the Afghan people are the result of years of foreign aggression and 20 years of occupation by the United States regime in Afghanistan."
He added: "The situation in Afghanistan should be such that the Afghan people and immigrants return to their homes, and the US government should pay compensation to the Afghan people. The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also informed about Iran's dialogue with the Afghan authorities for the return of refugees to their country."
Iran calls on UN to see Israeli nuk threat
Kanaani called on the international community to address the Israeli regime's threat to use nuclear bombs against Gaza.
The Spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry told reporters on Monday that the Israeli nuclear threat would weaken the non-proliferation treaty and the ban on the use of weapons of mass destruction.
He criticized the pro-Israeli countries for their silence to the threat and said: "It is regrettable that they have for years been fighting imaginary and false threats, but they do not see the real and objective threat, have no reaction."
Yet, Kanaani said that the threat showed the peak of the Israeli regime's failure against the Resistance front, on the one hand, and demonstrated that the Israeli regime fully disregarded international law, on the other hand.
He pointed out that the threat notices the fact at the international level that the Israeli regime itself is an objective threat to the world's peace and security.
The Iranian FM spokesman pointed to the US and some certain European countries which showed a green light to the Israeli regime for committing crimes in Gaza and held them accountable for the regime's crimes.
He noted that the Islamic Republic will seriously pursue the case to put it on the agenda of the UN and its Security Council.
