Tehran (IP)- Since the withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA, European Troika, including Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have performed negatively and indefensibly towards Iran's Nuclear Deal and fulfilling their obligations, especially the INSTEX.

Iran Press/Iran News: In a letter to the European Union's Foreign Policy Chief and Coordinator of the JCPOA, Josep Borrell, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif once again referred the cases of the European countries’ non-compliance according to Article 36 of the JCPOA to the Joint Commission for settlement.

"They are now seeking to justify their negative actions towards the JCPOA," he added.

Josep Borrell also responded to Mohammad Javad Zarif's letter by saying that he was determined to work with all parties interested in Iran's Nuclear Deal and the international community to maintain the agreement.

This claim by the EU's Foreign Policy Chief is in conflict with that of the European Union and the European Troika in dealing with the JCPOA.

They promised to do their best. However, the European Union and the European Troika, under the pressure of the United States and not being decisive enough, have also refrained from fulfilling their obligations, especially the effective implementation of the financial and trade mechanism with Iran known as the 'INSTEX'.

“As I have said previously, the Dispute Resolution Mechanism requires intensive efforts in good faith by all,” FM Zarif stressed in the letter.

The European Troika, under the pretext of a step-by-step reduction of Iran's JCPOA commitments in response to non-compliance of these three European countries to their commitments, condemned this action by Tehran and activated the JCPOA dispute resolution mechanism on January 14, calling on Iran to refrain and return to the previous situation.

Meanwhile, Iran has accepted the implementation of the JCPOA in the framework of its national interests and expects the members of the P4+1 group, especially the Europeans, to fulfill their JCPOA commitments.

Now it's Europe's turn to take practical steps if it is really interested in keeping the (JCPOA) agreement, instead of rhetoric and making paper promises, and to refrain from aligning with Washington and escalating pressure on Iran.
