Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salami

Tehran (IP)- "In the face of sanctions, we have defeated the global arrogance led by the United States," said Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salami, noting: "Today, when they are facing major problems, we can make them suffer more serial failures."

Iran PressIran News: Welcoming the efforts of the country's medical staff to fight the Coronavirus, Major General Salami said: "In a situation where the enemies of Iran thought we would succumb to the coronavirus, the efforts of the health care staff marked a golden record for Islamic Iran."

Referring to the inefficiency of the health system of many European and developed countries in the fight against Corona, the IRGC Commander said: "In Iran, the healthcare staff went beyond their medical commitment."

Major General Salami stated: "Throughout history, the conquerors of small peaks have never been admired, but the conquerors of the high peaks have always been and are worthy of admiration and honor. We are building a great foundation for the new Islamic civilization."

Emphasizing that Iran is not a small country, the IRGC commander said: "We want to say new words, and present new patterns when civilizations derived from liberal schools failed to create successful models for human happiness." 

"We have no choice but to become stronger. Today we have access to new knowledge and many of the world's latest technologies," he underscored.

Stating that today the global atmosphere is the atmosphere of psychological operations against us, he pointed to the valuable achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the huge volume of enemy psychological operations and specified: "In the face of sanctions and the problems that the enemies have created for us, we have defeated the global arrogance led by the United States."
