The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari today in her presser said, so far, 2456 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 180, 661 of total infected people have recovered.

Iran PressIran News: Sima Sadat Lari said on Saturday about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 27 in the country, 2, 456 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 220,180."1,139  of the new patients were hospitalized.

Fortunately, 180, 661 patients have recovered and discharged so far, Lari added.

The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 125 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 10,364 people have lost their lives in the country to date."

The official stated, "2,928 patients are in intensive care units."

So far, around 1, 583, 542 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.

The provinces of Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Hormozgan, West Azerbaijan, and Khorasan Razavi have the most cases of COVID-19 disease and are in the red.

The provinces of East Azerbaijan, Sistan, and Baluchestan, Bushehr, Lorestan, and Golestan are on alert.
