Russia's permanent representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that countries with half of the world's population did not support IAEA anti-Iranian resolution.

Iran Press/Europe: Mikhail Ulyanov tweeted on Wednesday that after the ratification of an anti-Iranian resolution by the IAEA Board of Governors, opponents of the JCPOA were pleased in the United States and said that Russia and China were once again isolated.

He added that in fact, seven other countries refused to support the resolution. These countries together make up more than half of the world's population. This is also your claim about loneliness.

A resolution against Iran was approved by IAEA on Friday, June 20, despite strong opposition from China and Russia.

In the resolution, the three European countries, Britain, Germany, and France, with US support, called Iran for an end to the IAEA inspectors' blocked access to the two nuclear sites and to cooperate fully with them.

25 countries voted in favor of the resolution and 2 against. Seven other countries abstained.

Russia's permanent representative to IAEA has previously criticized the resolution, saying the Council of Governors' resolution on access to two nuclear centers in Iran worsens the situation.
