Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts elaborated on the effects of 'capsule hotels' on developing the tourism industry, saying the Ministry seeks to create variety in passengers' accommodation and tourism infrastructure.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday, Vali Teymouri elaborated on the effects of 'capsule hotels' on developing the tourism industry.

He said that along with equipping ecological, historical, and traditional resorts, the Ministry updates the country's tourism industry with the latest changes in the world among which capsule hotels are.

"We may not be sure to call them 'hotel', but using different types of residential places will meet different tastes by tourists," he added.

Teymouri made the remarks on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of capsule hotels which was held on Sunday, June 14, at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts in Tehran.
