Iran Press/ Iran news: On the anniversary of the martyrdom of martyrs Rajaei and Bahonar and on the occasion of government week, the president and the members of the administration met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei on Wednesday.
Parts of the Leader's remarks are as follows:
-The code name of all administrations should be to earn God's pleasure and work for the people
-Martyr Rajaei was the president for about a month. Martyr Bahonar was the prime minister during this time. Martyr Rajaei was the prime minister for several months with the difficult conditions he had in those days.
Therefore, the function of these two is not matter. We don't have any signs or traces of these functions. What is the point behind these two statemen well-known for? I noted here that the issue is in their intentions. It is in their choice of direction. The direction of these two dear martyrs was revolutionary and divine. Those who knew these two people closely confirm our view that these two people were asking for something that all the martyrs in the cause of God were asking for. That is, their lives were right in line with their destiny; They were looking for God's pleasure; Just like all the martyrs in the cause of Allah who are sincerely engaged in Jihad, their goal is God's pleasure... God Almighty has asked us for this. The code name of the administration should be to earn God's pleasure and work for the people.
- The issue of people's livelihood is very important. The administration's positive diligent actions are overshadowed by livelihood problems such as the high cost of living, housing, and rent. Most of the sanctions are aimed at taking people's livelihoods hostage; Along with negotiations, sanctions should be neutralized. The most important indicator of the neutralization of sanctions is the reduction of inflation.
The Leader of the Revolution stated: "Whatever decision you want to make in the economy, see how it affects prominent areas such as social gap, market stability, exchange rate, inflation reduction, production growth, etc.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted: "I have supported all administrations with different tendencies and capabilities in these thirty years. The reason is clear; the conditions of the country and the goals we set for ourselves in the Islamic Republic require that everyone help the executive branch which is in the scene; The Leader should help, the people should help, the intellectuals should help, the elites should help; The rule is this; All governments deserve this comprehensive assistance. We helped all the administrations. But regarding the current administration, in addition to helping, I also want to praise, looking at these two years in office."
The Leader highlighted: "Unfortunately, the government's tone in expressing what it has done is not eloquent; The good measures that have happened have not been reflected in the minds of the people as much as they deserve. I want to say something, maybe it will help to make the facts and realities about the administration clearer to the people. What I want to stress is that a significant number of macroeconomic indicators show growth, show progress."
Ayatollah Khamenei added: "The nature of some governments is to sacrifice tomorrow for today, but this administration did not do this. It has done tremendous and fundamental works, the effect of which may not be fully visible today, but it will appear eventually."
