Baghdad (IP): This year Arbaeen pilgrims will travel to Iraq with about 3,000 flights from 20 airports in Iran.

According to Iranpress report, Head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) Mohammad Mohammadi-Bakhsh., after meeting with the head of Iraq's Aviation Organization in Baghdad, said in response to Iranpress news agency's question, that the Iraqi government has voiced its readiness for more cooperation with Iran during Arbaeen Hosseini days (PBUH).

The head of CAO stated that 20 airports in Iran will transfer Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) pilgrims to Baghdad and Najaf airports and efforts are being made to minimize the problems of pilgrims with the cooperation of Iraqi aviation authorities.

Imad Abdul Razzaq Al-Asadi, the head of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Organization, in response to the question of Iran Press, said that with the cooperation of Iran, all efforts will be made to reduce the problems of transferring pilgrims of Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) from Iran to Iraq and to make more trips to  Al- Atabat  Al Alyat.

Al-Atabat Al-Aliyat, which is also known as Al-Atabat Al-Muqaddasa (literally: holy doorsteps) are the shrines of six Shia Imams which are in four cities .of Iraq, namely Najaf, Karbala, Kadhimiya and Samarra.
