Tehran (IP) - Iranian Interior Minister, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said that violators of health and hygienic protocols will be prosecuted and all people must observe healthy protocols seriously.

Iran PressIran news: On the sideline of the Security, Social, and Disciplinary Committee meeting of National Task Force for combating Coronavirus with the attendance of relevant officials, the Interior Minister said the Health Ministry has expressed concern about ignoring hygienic protocols by many people.

Rahmani Fazli said that if any reopened places such as mosques, shopping malls, or others will not implement hygienic roles, they will face full legal prosecution and shutdown.

The other main issue discussed in the meeting was the increase of infections in 6 provinces which have turned to red zones but by supervision and having enough facilities and implementing health protocols to contain the virus, there is no need for concern, the top official highlighted.

Hotels, inns, and exhibitions will be reopened in white zones of course under health instructions, he said.

Rahmani Fazli underscored that the hygienic protocols for prisoners prepared by the Health Ministry has been observed.

The disease has not gone yet, so all protocols are required to be followed seriously, Interior Minister said.

Sima Sadat Lari new Health Ministry Spokeswoman on Tuesday, June 6 said that in the past 24 hours 2,269 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and 74 people lost their lives.

Around 1,128,601 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country, which shows that 175,927 people infected to the COVID-19 so far.

132,038 patients have recovered and 8,425 people have lost their lives in total.
