Tehran (IP)- Iranian and Japanese representatives stressed the expansion of customs cooperation between the two countries to boost the volume of trade exchanges.

Iran PressIran News: In the joint meeting of the Director General of the International Cooperation Office of Iran's Customs, Omid Golzari, and the Head of the Economic Department of the Japanese Embassy in Iran, they emphasized the expansion of customs cooperation between Iran and Japan to increase the volume of commercial exchanges between the two countries. 

On Iran-Japan custom cooperation, Omid Golzari and the Japanese representative announced the two countries' readiness to exchange information and hold training courses.  

Between March 21 and June 21, 2023, Iran exported goods worth about $2.6 m to Japan and imported goods worth over $10.5 m from the country. 

Iran mainly exports gas condensate, methanol, floor coverings, carpets, wool rugs, cumin seeds, pistachios, and non-velvet floor coverings to Japan.
