Iran Press/ Iran News: Gachsaran Petrochemical Plant, the most significant industrial project of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province, is located in southern Iran.
During the inauguration of the Gachsaran Petrochemical Plant, Iran's Oil Minister, Javad Owji, briefed the country's President Ebrahim Raisi on the Ministry's ongoing activities.
Owji announced an investment of $1.3 bn. in the project.
He added that five petrochemicals-related projects will be launched by the end of the year (2023).
Owji stated Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province has an estimated 92 billion barrels of oil-in-place (OIP) and nine oil and gas fields that can produce between 500 and 600 thousand barrels each day.
