Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's Minister of Health and Medical Education, Bahram Eynollahi, met with his Iraqi counterpart Saleh Mahdi al-Hasnawi in Tehran on Saturday.
During the meeting, Iran's Health Minister pointed to medical cooperation between Iran and Iraq, including medicine and medical equipment, saying that implementation of the collaboration promotes services provided to the people of the two countries.
Eynollahi emphasized that Iran has unique healthcare capabilities. Furthermore, sharing knowledge and transferring medical experiences play a crucial role in Iran's contribution to the development of healthcare in Iraq and other countries.
Iraq's Health Minister Saleh Mahdi al-Hasnawi arrived in Tehran on Friday, heading a high-ranking delegation to expand bilateral relations in health and treatment fields.
According to Saif al-Badr, the spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, the Iraqi Health Minister's visit to Iran is aimed at gaining insight into the Iranian pharmaceutical industry and utilize their experience to enhance the local pharmaceutical sector in Iraq.
