Baghdad (IP) - The head of the State of Law Coalition and Iran's Ambassador to Iraq met and discussed the relations between the two countries and increasing the level of cooperation.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Iran Press news agency, Nouri Al-Maliki, the head of the State of Law coalition, hosted Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, in his office in Baghdad.

At the beginning of this meeting, the Iranian ambassador, while conveying the congratulatory message of Iranian officials on the occasion of the formation of the new Iraqi government, announced Iran's readiness to support Iraq in various fields and emphasized the need to overcome the problems faced by both sides in a way that benefits the two neighboring nations.

Al Kazem continued: "Tehran is seeking to expand joint work areas and open new horizons for cooperation with Baghdad."

In this meeting, the head of the State of Law coalition also said Iraq is witnessing political stability and the desire to strengthen relations with all friendly countries.

Nouri al-Maliki emphasized that Iraq wishes to strengthen its relations with all supportive and friendly countries. Iraq is witnessing significant political stability, which will soon be reflected in the government's performance.
