The head of Iran-Turkey Joint Chamber of Commerce Mehrdad Saadat Dehqan, announced the possibility of reopening the Bazargan border this week.

Iran Press/Iran news: In this regard, Mehrdad Saadat said, "With the consultations between Iran and Turkey, the land border at Bazargan will be reopened for the next 48 hours with the aim of trade relations."

He added: "With the reopening of this border, border exchanges between Iran and Turkey will resume."

Border relations between the two countries have been suspended since the outbreak of the Coronavirus crisis.

Following the telephone conversation between the presidents of Iran and Turkey, solutions to reopen the border terminals between the two countries are on the agenda of the officials in charge.
