Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs said the White regions' activities under Health Ministry's supervision would continue if the coronavirus doesn't spread again and the cities stay 'White', otherwise, the restrictions would be applied.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press about dividing the country into three White, Yellow, and Red regions based on the coronavirus danger-zone hierarchy, Hossein Zolfaghari noted that 114 cities of the country would resume their activities with a week appraisal and passing a 15-day period to check the signs of recurrent COVID-19

Stating that the White-Yellow interval is short and fragile, Iran's Deputy Interior Minister said: "Even by diagnosing one COVID-19 case in a White region with 1,000 inhabitants, the region would be changed to Yellow and the restrictions will be put in place."

Zolfaghari stressed that not all activities would resume their operations in the While regions, saying: "These regions must also be controlled, and a number of activities will be monitored by the Ministry of Health."

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday that as approved by the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, the country will be divided into three zones of white, yellow and red based on the spread of coronavirus, and the protocols by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education will be implemented along with the restrictions and regulations for fighting coronavirus.
