Kuwait, Malaysia voice support to Iran against coronavirus

Tehran (IP) - In separate telephone conversations with the Iranian Parliament Speaker, the speakers of the Kuwaiti and Malaysian parliaments voiced the solidarity of their people with Iran in the fight against coronavirus.

Iran PressIran News: Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim had a telephone conversation with the Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, expressing his regret over his infection with coronavirus. He also discussed with him the cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in controlling the virus.

In another phone call, the Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof wished Ali Larijani good health and announced solidarity of his nation with the Iranian people against the coronavirus.

COVID-19 has infected more than 2.25 million people and killed at least 158,000 worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Iran's Ministry of Health Spokesman announced that so far more than 55,987 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease and reported a decrease in daily death toll for the 6th consecutive days with 73 deaths.
