Iran Press/Middle East: 67 Arab and international human rights bodies called on Bahrain’s authorities to fulfill the request of the High Commissioner of Human Rights about political prisoners along with its anti-Corona plans, and release the Bahraini political detainees.
Bahraini legal entities stressed that prisons are more exposed to the risk of contagious diseases where social distancing and observing WHO’s protocols to counter the outbreak of the Coronavirus are impossible in crowded prisons.
Earlier, human rights organizations warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in Al-Khalifa prisons, saying that the high number of prisoners in Bahrain's jails reduced the level of health-care there. 101/207
