Iran Press/ Iran News: In an interview with IRIB, AEOI spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said adding that the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran is ready to produce corona detection kits due to its specialized forces and capabilities.
Kamalvandi on the AEOI production in nuclear medicine said: "About one million Iranians who go to health centers to perform nuclear medicine measures, actually use the Radiopharmaceuticals productions of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran."
The spokesman for Iran's Atomic Energy Organization further noted that despite the US unilateral and illegal sanctions, it had developed a quadruple vaccine to treat livestock foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), a cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) for cancer therapy, as well as screening babies and early detection of diseases.
These are the most important measures taken by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in the field of nuclear medicine.
Kamalvandi added that the unveiling of the achievements of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in the fields of technology, enrichment, power plants, and lasers has been postponed due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, but some of these achievements will be unveiled soon through the media.
