Iran Press/ Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday 15 March Kianoosh Jahanpour remarked that World Health Organization (WHO) has a positive assessment of intervention measures, training, and public media information in Iran to prevent the outbreak of Covid-19.
Jahanpour referred to the US sanctions on medicines and medical equipment against Iran and called for more attention from the WHO to Iran.
Yet, mentioned that the international health body has taken good actions to provide Iran with medical and health equipment.
The Health Ministry Spokesman noted to the specific geographical situation of Iran as a crossroads of the region and said it has made the condition harder for the pandemic disease.
