Dr. Majid Ghayour Mobarhan, a nutrition specialist and professor at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, has been awarded the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Eastern Mediterranean Regional Prize for his pioneering work in preventing and controlling noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer.
