Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif held talks with Red Cross Chief

Iranian Foreign Minister and the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross discussed the joint efforts in humanitarian affairs in Syria, Yemen and Libya.

Iran Press/Europe: Iran' s Foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held talks with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer on Saturday 15 February. The two sides discussed the humanitarian cooperation and Red cross committee in Syria, Yemen and Libya.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference 2020.

Zarif earlier held talks with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.

He also held talks with his Omani, Croatian, Chinese, Czech, Japanese, Spanish and Ukrainian counterparts.

The 56th Munich Security Conference attended by leaders from 35 countries is to be continued until Sunday.
