Islamabad (IP) - The celebration of the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution was attended on Monday by Iranians residing in Pakistan, a number of Pakistani ministers, officials, ambassadors, and other countries' diplomats residing in Islamabad.

Iran PressAsia: Iran's ambassador to Islamabad Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini pointed to the great achievements of Iran and said that the achievements are due to the Islamic Revolution.

Commemorating Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, Hosseini added that supporting the oppressed nations of the world, including the Palestinian people, is one of the main goals of Iran's foreign policy.

Pakistan's Minister of Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi who talked on behalf of the country's president and prime minister congratulated the 41st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory, noting: "Sanctions have made Iran a strong nation, so the resistance of the Iranian people is a unique model for other countries."

The Pakistani Minister of Maritime Affairs also emphasized the expansion of cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad in various fields.
