Kish (IP) - The Visual Arts Exhibition 'Respecting Hafez' has opened on Tuesday at the Kish Island's Persian Gulf Art Museum in Hormozgan province (southern Iran) lasting for about a month.

Iran PressIran news: The works of German artist Gunther Uecker, taken from the poetry of Hafez Shirazi, an Iranian poet, have been exhibited at the Visual Arts Exhibition entitled 'Respecting Hafez'.

Iranian artists' works from Kish, Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Kerman, and Rasht have been showcased alongside the works of the German artist at the Visual Arts Exhibition.

The exhibition after Kish Island will also be held in 6 European cities.

Kish is one of the southern islands of Iran and an important destination for foreign and Iranian tourists.
