Moscow (IP) - The latest works of the famous Russian painter and sculpture Sergei Feofanova, which depicts the Iranian Epic Poet Ferdowsi's Shahnameh (Grand book), were unveiled in a ceremony at Moscow's Biblio Globus Library.

Iran Press/Europe: In the ceremony, Sergei Feonova addressed culture and art enthusiasts and noted that 'Persia' is the gateway to a legendary world.

The ceremony was attended by officials and envoys from Iran, Afghanistan, Russia, and Tajikistan as well as a number of academics, intellectuals, and cultural figures from the mentioned countries.

Addressing the gathering, Iran's ambassador to Russia reiterated that Ferdowsi's Shahnameh is the common language of art and culture for the Persian-speaking countries.

Some participants in the ceremony, including Afghanistan's envoy to Russia and a number of other Persian literature enthusiasts, recited excerpts from the Shahnameh.
